VoIP technology - IP telephone calls
VoIP technology is actively being utilized in many different variations and is enabling a new generation of communication options. VOIP technology is most commonly used in business settings. It allows business colleagues to discuss ideas and issues while working on the Internet. VoIP technology is predicted to be the future of voice communication for both wired, wireless, and cellular voice and video communication.
VoIP technology is actually built upon the foundation of the Internet. In fact, the initials IP stand for Internet Protocol because the signal of voice over IP telephone calls are sent and received through Internet Protocol. VoIP technology is gaining ground so fast that it may be impossible for any government agency to dictate what these networks should look like. Skype, for instance, isn’t even an American company. VoIP technology is more likely to run into quality issues, however. In its early stages of development, VoIP was prone to time delays and poor sound quality.
