VoIP software - Skype and many more

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is an emerging technology which allows you to make telephone calls over the Internet, often for free. It is already starting to replace existing telephone networks, with many people and businesses choosing to cancel their traditional phone line and use VoIP instead. If you have a computer and a broadband connection, you can start making long distance calls for free. All you need is a piece of software in order to start calling.

Skype claims that it’s better than other VoIP software, because of its high call completion rate and superior sound quality. And Skype is indeed a great piece of software for Internet telephony. But as you´ll se in the articles below, Skype isn´t the only one offering VoIP communication.
